Chase for the Championship Continues with UNOH Great Eight
BATAVIA, Ohio (August 27, 2025) - The UNOH “Great Eight” received a cash bonus based on their position in the championship point standings for the Big River Steel Chase for the Championship presented by ARP following the events at Port Royal Speedway.
The UNOH Great Eight is the third of four bonus rounds in the Big River Steel Chase for the Championship presented by ARP. The UNOH Great Eight honors the top eight drivers competing for a record points fund exceeding $1.3 million.
Ricky Thornton Jr. claimed the top spot in the Chase for the Championship and earned $7,500, while each driver afterward received a $1,500 bonus. The rest of the top eight included Devin Moran, Hudson O’Neal, Brandon Sheppard, Garrett Alberson, Brandon Overton, and Daulton Wilson.
UNOH Great Eight Bonus Payout: 1. $7,500, 2. $1,500, 3. $1,500, 4. $1,500, 5. $1,500, 6. $1,500, 7. $1,500, 8. $1,500 = Total $18,000
