56th Annual Hillbilly Hundred Marred by Weather
MIDDLEBOURNE, WV (September 1, 2024) – Multiple rounds of severe thunderstorms in the area on Saturday afternoon brought high winds and torrential rainfall to Tyler County Speedway. The rain persisted throughout the night, turning the Bullring pit area into a muddy quagmire.
Despite the track staff’s dedicated efforts to dry out the pit area on Sunday morning, conditions remained unsuitable for racing. With no suitable reschedule date available, track and series officials were forced to cancel the 56th Annual Hillbilly Hundred – Presented by Arizona Sport Shirts.

Fans who purchased three-day tickets can mail their armbands to Tyler County Speedway, PO Box 475, Middlebourne, WV 26149, for a refund.
