Unfavorable Forecast Forces Cancelation of East Bay Winternationals Finale
Tampa, Fla. (February 11, 2023) – An unfavorable forecast for Saturday night has forced East Bay Raceway Park and Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series officials to cancel the 47th Annual Wieland Winternationals – presented by Lucas Oil finale.
“With the forecast for heavy rain at race time, we felt it was in the best interest of the teams and fans on-site to make this decision early,” said Al Varnadore, President of East Bay Raceway Park. “This will allow everyone time to make the necessary preparations and clear the grounds before they become heavily saturated.”
Anyone who purchased a ticket for Saturday night’s program may mail their ticket to East Bay Raceway Park, 6311 Burts Road, Tampa, FL 33619 for a refund. For more information, please visit www.ebrp.co or call the track office at (813) 677-7223.
